I have been working with young people for over 20 years and have been involved in various capacities of children and youth ministry since 2009. I believe in the advocacy and empowerment of young people and know they have an amazing voice as Christ’s representatives in our broken world. It is my hope that we would all follow our baptismal covenant in not only nurturing our young people in their faith but also providing them opportunities to witness to God’s grace and profess their faith. I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of New Mexico and a second Master’s Degree in Christian Practice from Duke Divinity School. I am a certified candidate for ordination as a Deacon in the United Methodist Church. In my spare time, I enjoy serving as a 6th grade teacher in Albuquerque’s International District. I reside in Albuquerque with my husband and our two children.
